The Project Manager role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in federal healthcare program and project management. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval and the ability to meet security requirements.

Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules and action-tracking logs to monitor milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across testosterone screening and treatment expansion initiatives.
  • Coordinate across related program initiatives to help ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Support the Task Order Program Manager and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with monthly Contract Status Reports, Contract Budget Trackers, and Task Order meetings.
  • Maintain the contract document repository (SharePoint), including contract-year folders, personnel tracking lists, invoice documentation, and budget trackers.
  • Support contractor onboarding and offboarding, including tracking VA Talent Management System (TMS) training compliance.
  • Organize and facilitate working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and decision-making forums, managing logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain risk and issue logs, monitor mitigation strategies, and provide regular reporting to leadership on risks, issues, and scope impacts.
  • Coordinate resources, track task assignments, and monitor progress to help ensure accountability and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Develop executive-level status reports, dashboards, and briefing materials for program, project, and initiative leadership.
  • Maintain organized project files with version control to ensure systematic document storage and retrieval.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in program or project management, preferably supporting federal health agency initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Experience developing schedules, risk/issue logs, and status reports for federal health program offices.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, or similar tools for milestone tracking and document management.
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
