Job Summary

Artemis is seeking a Data Analyst – Jr. to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Center for Care and Payment Innovation (CCPI) Data Analytics Support Services team in delivering enterprise data analytics, reporting, and operational support. This role assists with data analysis, key performance indicator (KPI) and metric development, dashboard support, data quality validation, and documentation of business and analytic requirements across the CCPI pilot portfolio, working under the direction of senior analysts and Government stakeholders.

 

The Data Analyst – Jr. role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics support within a professional or federal environment. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

This is a contingent hire position.

 

Offers will be contingent upon client approval and ability to meet security requirements.

 

Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support data analysis and interpretation activities for CCPI pilot performance, KPI, and operational reporting requirements.
  • Assist with development, validation, and standardization of KPIs, operational metrics, and pilot performance measures.
  • Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of dashboards and visualizations using VA-approved reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Perform data extraction, data quality checks, and validation activities across VA enterprise data environments in support of senior analysts.
  • Assist with development of standardized data collection plans, including identifying data sources and feedback mechanisms.
  • Support documentation of business requirements, analytic rules, and data mapping in coordination with Government stakeholders.
  • Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting of analytics workflows and data processes within Government-approved platforms.
  • Contribute to progress reporting and deliverable preparation as directed by senior team members and the Program Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, information systems, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related analytics support work.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with data extraction, validation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
