Job Summary

 

Artemis is seeking a Communications Outreach Specialist to support the development of communications materials that build brand and product awareness through targeted media campaigns. This role assists in executing outreach activities that reach key audiences and stakeholders.

 

The Communications Outreach Specialist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in developing communications materials and supporting targeted media and outreach campaigns. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

 

This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).

Remote work is anticipated. However, all candidates should be local to the Washington, DC metro area as on-site work may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of communications materials to build brand and product awareness.
  • Support the planning and execution of targeted media campaigns.
  • Coordinate outreach activities to reach key audiences and stakeholders.
  • Help track and report on outreach campaign activities and results.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of demonstrated experience assisting in the development of communications materials to build brand and product awareness through targeted media campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting targeted media and outreach campaigns.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance and/or DHS suitability determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Client Information

Within the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Records and Identity Services (IRIS) Directorate manages immigration information and provides verification and person centric identity services critical to components of DHS’s strategic efforts to enforce immigration laws and protect the American people. The Verification Division (VER), within IRIS, provides timely and accurate employment eligibility verification services to employers and citizenship or immigration status verification to federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies. VER manages Form I-9 guidance, E-Verify, E-Verify+, and the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program. These programs support lawful employment eligibility verification and proper administration of public benefits.
