Job Summary

Argent ARC is seeking a Product Manager to guide the modernization of the DoDEA Non-DoD Schools Program (NDSP) Community Profiles digital platform. In this role, you will translate stakeholder and military-family needs into an actionable product roadmap, drive Agile sprints and planning, and use product-management tools to prioritize and maintain a backlog of features, user stories, and Section 508 remediation tasks. You will prepare data-rich demos and KPI briefings for the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), coordinate a 60-day, zero-downtime cloud transition, and enforce quality gates that include FedRAMP, RMF, and accessibility compliance. This position is a full-time, contingent hire.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision & strategy for the NDSP Community Profiles platform, aligning stakeholder goals, user insights, and contract requirements.
  • Manage a living backlog. Translate ideas and feedback into well-structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive clear, incremental value.
  • Lead iterative, Agile sprints by facilitating planning, review, and retrospective ceremonies; monitor scope, schedule, and quality to keep releases on track.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery. Work daily with engineering, design, content, data, and security teammates to remove impediments and optimize flow.
  • Oversee the 60-day cloud transition and future releases, ensuring zero-downtime cut-overs, smooth operational hand-offs, and continuous improvement thereafter.
  • Champion compliance and quality standards. Embed Section 508 accessibility, security (FedRAMP/RMF), and data-accuracy checkpoints throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Track and report product health. Leverage analytics dashboards, user research, and help-desk trends to inform decisions and showcase progress to the COR and leadership.
  • Drive change management and communications. Prepare release notes, demos, executive briefings, and training materials that keep all audiences informed and engaged.
  • Mentor teammates in Agile and product best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and mission focus.
  • Identify growth opportunities. Surface innovative ideas and roadmap refinements that enhance the platform’s value for military families and support option-year planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5-8 years of product management experience delivering digital products and services
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS GovCloud, and fluency with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Terraform.
  • Comfortable articulating the big picture; translating contract language and user insights into roadmaps, KPIs, and stakeholder-ready narratives.
  • Ability to lead iterative Agile delivery with Jira or Azure DevOps, guiding backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and release reviews for cross-functional teams.
  • Working familiarity with Section 508, FedRAMP-Moderate, NIST RMF, and DISA STIG requirements, and a track record of embedding these controls into Definition of Done.
  • Strong bias toward action; adept at removing blockers, using analytics to shape decisions, and pivoting plans when mission needs evolve.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior government audiences and collaborating across contractors and disciplines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting Federal or DoD cloud programs.
  • Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Developer, Certified Agile Leadership, Certified Agile Coach, Scrum with Kanban, SAFe Agile, etc.).
  • Excellent presentation and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, lead discussions and drive decisions.
  • Ability to identify organizational goals and challenges, design engagements and make change in organizations.
  • Experience in human-centered design; ability to manage iterative design and live products, collect and make sense of data, and identify correlation or causation.
  • Experience building out solutions that support real-time, low latency data transmission.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues and a desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
