Job Summary

Artemis ARC is seeking a Training Specialist and Facilitator with demonstrated experience creating and delivering user-friendly, dynamic training environments; creating and standardizing training processes; developing trainings that inform audiences; and encouraging interaction and participation for adult learners. Experience working with the Veteran Health Administration is preferred. Experience in topics related to health care leadership is strongly preferred.

 

The Training Specialist will be responsible for the creation, revision, and delivery of remote synchronous and asynchronous front-line supervisor training for a federal healthcare agency. This individual will also assist with the continued revision and update of a supervisory training program curriculum. To be successful in this role, the candidate will also need strong customer interaction skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a large, complex organization.

 

This senior-level, full-time position is a remote role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop/update innovation curriculum materials and products to include but not limited to weekly slide decks and facilitator/student guides
  • Standardizing briefing decks, supplementary materials, talking points, messaging ensuring the program branding and look-and-feel is incorporated
  • Create weekly content slides, operation tools, facilitator scripts, supplementary products, announcements, and messaging needed for each week
  • Coordinate with government clients to assign students to virtual learning teams and record attendance and assignment completion data
  • Monitor performance to ensure project tasks are completed on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Capture and distribute event findings, including outcomes, decisions and action items to inform future sessions.
  • Track program level risks, issues, scope and timing changes.
  • Attend a weekly faculty meeting to communicate ideas for course improvements
  • Coordinate with project manager for status report information on a weekly and monthly timeframe.
  • Support the recording of metrics and measurements to track the performance of the course materials.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a related feild 
  • 10 years’ experience in education, adult learning curriculum and training in an academic or industry setting
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex team-based environment in a consulting-type organization focused on enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of adult learning and change management best practices and methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Prosci).
  • Highly organized, systematic and proactive in delivering/preparing materials and meeting client expectations within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience working with multiple levels of stakeholders to help them identify and prioritize transformation and change management initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating training and discussion sessions within Microsoft Teams and other online platforms conducive to online group learning and engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of training and technical assistance delivery best practices including adult learning theory, assessment, analysis, instructional strategies and tactics.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. 
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others. 
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally. 
  • Experience using and managing documentation and materials in SharePoint. 
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. 
  • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail. 
  • Ability to interact and engage with Executive-level stakeholders.
  • Takes initiative on project tasks that need to be updated or reviewed.
  • Has a proactive attitude and works ahead to anticipate needs of client and project.
  • Ability to multitask on items throughout the project and virtual trainings when feasible.
