Job Summary

This position requires a Communications Specialist skilled in recruitment marketing, particularly focused on optimizing job board visibility and enhancing recruiter support across digital platforms. This role will require a proactive, self-starting individual with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to effectively manage recruitment visibility and job board performance for federal clients.

 

The Communications Specialist role requires a motivated, action-oriented professional with experience in management consulting and business development pursuits. Candidates should be prepared to deliver superior service, remain poised under pressure, and maintain a positive, flexible approach.

 

This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Job Board Management: Oversee and manage job postings across platforms, including XML feed management, to maximize role visibility.
  • Recruiter Support: Provide essential support to recruiters, including onboarding and training on job board platforms, answering inquiries, and offering strategic guidance.
  • Campaign Tracking & Optimization: Monitor and adjust job board campaigns based on performance metrics to ensure alignment with recruitment objectives.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with job board vendors to manage budgets, track goals, and achieve performance targets.
  • Stakeholder Meetings: Participate in regular internal check-ins to review metrics, discuss job board strategy, and deliver performance insights.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze recruitment metrics to assess job board effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements for recruitment tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in recruitment, HR, communications, or marketing, with expertise in job board or recruitment marketing, ideally within a federal or public sector environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in job board platforms, XML feed management, and digital tracking tools.
  • Ability to perform data analysis for improving job board performance.
  • Proven capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a dynamic setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with a focus on collaboration and vendor management.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
