Job Summary

Artemis is seeking a Digital Social Media Analyst to lead a government client’s crucial organic social media efforts. The Analyst will have a wealth of experience developing and executing large-scale social media campaigns with demonstrated success advancing a customer’s brand positioning. The Analyst will work with the communications team to devise and execute all aspects of social media strategy, including working with communications specialists, graphic designers, and managers. The Analyst must be able to think quickly and respond to news cycles as relevant. The social media campaigns led by the Analyst must be built on data, and the Analyst plays a pivotal role in analysis of campaigns and applying lessons learned from performance into future campaigns.

 

This is a role for a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in management consulting. This position needs an individual that provides superior customer service, responds well to pressure, and maintains a positive and flexible attitude.

 

This is a contingent hire position. A signed letter of commitment is required.

 

This is an on-site position.

 

The expected compensation at the time of requisition creation is between $85,000-$105,000.  The position offers medical, dental and vision coverage.  Additional benefits such as 401K, disability insurance and PTO are provided as well.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a social media strategy to bolster a federal client’s recruiting profile. 
  • Expand community engagement on the client’s social media properties. 
  • Improve visibility and engagement of the client’s social media activity. 
  • Track analytics and provide regular insights. 
  • Work in tandem with media and creative teams to develop content. 
  • Manage output across numerous social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X). 
  • Ensure tone adequately reflects client style guides and standards. 
  • Seek and define other opportunities for new media engagement. 
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines with professionalism and dependability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of strategic communications experience within the last 10 years.
  • At least 4 years of strategic social media experience on behalf of federal customers.
  • A knack for storytelling and finding new ways to reach untapped audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in leading campaigns and hitting KPIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Expertise with social media management and listening platforms (e.g. Meltwater, Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
  • Strategic thinker with forward-thinking approach to marketing trends and technologies.
  • Strong problem solver with robust critical thinking skills.
  • Self-started capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort interfacing with and advising senior-level government employees.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Active Secret government clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
