Job Summary

Artemis is seeking a full-time Marketing Data Analytics Specialist to deliver effective campaign insights, measurement, reporting and optimization across our client portfolio. As a key member of our paid media team, this individual will collaborate to derive actionable insights and recommendations from paid advertising data to improve the performance of numerous client campaigns. This individual will collect and analyze marketing data, build attribution and return on investment (ROI) models and identify new and untapped channels for engaging client audiences. The individual will also collaborate with an in-house paid media team to effectively capture essential advertising data inputs for this analysis.

 

This mid-level position requires strong customer interaction skills and a demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders across multiple tasks.

 

This is a contingent hire position.

 

This is a remote role. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce meaningful marketing key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards and deliver monthly, cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Develop conversion optimization strategies, with the aim of improving efficiency in the digital marketing department and increasing ROI.
  • Analyze online user behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution.
  • Ensure data parity across tools and platforms.
  • Analyze data from a range of sources to deliver actionable insights.
  • Deliver high level, top down, sets of analytics and dashboards to track client outcomes at the overall client/project level and for individual marketing campaigns.
  • Create the key dashboards that enable our paid media and strategy teams to optimize campaigns more effectively and enable our clients to rapidly see the ROI our campaigns generate.
  • Synthesize data analysis into compelling client-facing presentations, including data-driven recommendations for future campaign evolution.
  • Support the development of forecasting and budgeting models for marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of marketing analytics processes and methodologies.
  • Present data analysis and relevant insights cross functionally in a clear and concise manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, marketing or mathematics preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics or data-driven role.
  • Experience working with data visualization and creating dashboards using tools like Datorama, Tableau and/or Google Data Studio. Knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital channels such as programmatic, search engine optimization/search engine marketing, paid social, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and familiarity with associated tools such as Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager and Google Tag Manager.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Existing DHS suitability.
  • Familiarity with Demand-Side Platforms a plus.
  • Experience building and using complex user attribution and marketing mix models to understand marketing ROI.
  • Ability to communicate complex problems and analysis simply with a variety of stakeholders and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of CRM technical concepts and tools including relational databases, customer data integration, analytic modeling, campaign management and business intelligence systems.
  • Ability to solve an array of challenges using professional, understandable concepts.
  • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to communicate across most mediums and settings.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
