Job Summary

Artemis is seeking a full-time Training Analyst who will apply an organization-wide set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of in-person and virtual training for government employees on business process, workflow tasks and associated technology for an enterprise-wide, federal modernization initiative. The Training Analyst will perform a variety of training-focused tasks including, but not limited to, developing training plans, facilitating sessions, assisting with the creation of training videos and more.

 

This is a contingent hire position.

 

This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive training plan designed to assist federal employees with the rollout of a large-scale technology modernization initiative.
  • Organize, manage and lead a several virtual and in-person training sessions per month (e.g., record sessions, leverage interactive tools such as whiteboards to increase engagement, record minutes, capture participant questions, provide technical assistance to trainees as needed).
  • Work with a team of video, communications and graphic design experts to develop and distribute training videos, providing recommendations and inputs for scripts, storyboards, visuals and more, as needed.
  • Apply an organization-wide set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of training on an enterprise-wide basis or across a major sector of the enterprise.
  • Collect training recommendations and performance metrics from multiple sources (e.g., the web, client databases, other resources) to inform training campaign needs and recommendations for optimization.
  • Gather basic data, identify key stakeholders, review the effectiveness of existing training strategies and propose recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify potential partners and resource requirements (e.g., human, technical, financial) required to implement approved training strategies and materials.
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure the success of programmatic strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience developing and implementing comprehensive training plans that engage audiences and encourage participation.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating both in-person and virtual training events, preferably with federal employees.
  • Familiarity with adult learning best practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to run training sessions in a virtual environment and the software required to do so (e.g., Teams, WebEx, Mural, Menitmeter).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

VBA’s Office of Automated Benefits Delivery (ABD) is focused on leveraging data and using technology to automate administrative tasks and workflows to enhance claims processing efficiency, prevent backlogs and address employee burnout.
